BUILDING ENTRANCES - Richmond Street entrance to the building has 1 step 6 inches tall. The doorknob on the outside is a vertical bar handle which can be pulled open. The doorway width is 3 foot 5 inches. This door is not automated. The inside of the door is a push bar to exit the building. This is the only entrance to the lobby. There is a staircase of 13 steps each 6 inches tall, leading up to the elevator with a handrail on both sides.
STUDIO ENTRANCES - 4th floor- Entrance into the studio through the studio door consists of no steps. The studio door has a door knob with a lockbox attached to it, which contains the key to the studio door, on a 3ft tether. The door width is 2 foot 11 inches. The door is not automated. On the inside, the door handle is a twist door knob. 3rd floor- Entrance door into the third floor hallway has no steps. The studio door to unit 303 is a heavy glass door with opens into the studio, with a vertical metal bar as a handle. The door to unit 301 is a lever.
UNITS - The aisles within the studios on 4th and 3rd floor are 3 foot 5 inches inches at the smallest. There are four 6 inch steps leading to the fire escape. The door to the fire escape is a twist handle.
ELEVATORS - The elevator door is up thirteen 6 inch steps from the lobby, and 1 metre from the studio door on the 4th floor. The elevator door width is 2”10. Inside the elevator, the space is 6ft by 3 ft 4 inches.
BATHROOMS - 4th floor- There are two gender neutral, private bathrooms within the studio. Each has a 1.5 inch step leading inside. The door to bathroom #1 is 2 feet 3 inches in width, with a door handle on the inside and outside. There are no grab bars inside. Bathroom #2 has a door which is 2 ft 3 inches in width, with a spherical doorknob both on the inside and outside. There are no grab bars within this bathroom. 3rd floor- the bathroom doors have knob handles and require a bathroom key which is hanging on a hook four feet up the wall on the inside of each studio entrance door. Both bathrooms are gender neutral. Neither bathrooms have grab bars.
