Akin Niagara
Akin Niagara is located at 289 Niagara Street just south of Queen St W. The studio is on the lower level of an apartment building in close proximity to Trinity Bellwoods Park. Akin Niagara consists of dedicated and shared memberships in rooms with large windows which get ambient daylight and a view of outdoor space exclusively for Akin Niagara members’ use. The studio has a patio with outdoor tables and chairs in the north patio, and bench seating in the west. Centrally located, Akin Niagara is within walking distance of countless amenities, including Type Books, the Paper Place and Deserres on Spadina.
Akin Niagara is host to shared memberships for $80/month and there are 27 Dedicated Memberships (i.e your own studio), including private and semi-private options each featuring direct window light, ranging from 40 sqft for $257/month to 254 sqft for $940/month.
All memberships include 24/7 access, wifi, utilities, insurance, shared storage facilities, restroom and kitchen access, communal workspaces and common area cleaning. Prices include HST. There is a wash up sink in each unit to wash brushes and other art-making tools.

Akin Niagara is located 51 metres from the 501 Queen Streetcar Eastbound stop at Niagara Street. Akin Niagara is 350 metres from the nearest 501 Queen Streetcar Westbound stop at Queen St W and Palmerston Ave. Akin Niagara can is 350 metres from the King Street Streetcar stop at King and Niagara street, with stops at this intersection travelling both east and westbound.
Bike and Car Parking
Bike locks are located on Niagara street on the west sidewalk just outside the studio gate. These bike locks are open for all public use. Akin Niagara has no designated parking.

The studio is on the lower level of a building, its entrance is down a flight of twelve steps from the sidewalk. Akin Niagara has three bathrooms, all of which are single stall and gender neutral, some of which have grab bars.
