Join Akin the night of Friday February 18th for a walk-through of two interactive and engaging winter lights festivals! We'll be hitting the Harbourfront area first (meet just south of the gift shop, near the studio windows wall) to visit the interactive Nordic Lights installation. Once we've toured there, and depending on the weather, participants have the option of continuing on to the Distillery District where The Toronto Light Festival is taking place.
Light Installations by a variety of International and Canadian artists will be present at both locations, offering a unique and glittering art experience. This is a self-guided tour, but Akin facilitator Erin Candela will be in attendance to guide and provide a little information.
While these events are free of charge, and all takes place outside, please be prepared to wear a mask and plan for social distancing as recommended by the City Of Toronto Covid19 Health and Safety measures.
Want to find out more about the event or how to donate to Akin's initiatives? Just go to our link in the bio (at top) to register and find out more! Your support through your participation in events or other kinds of contributions is always appreciated, and every little bit counts!
