Figureworks 2017 Call for Artists

Figureworks invites artists to participate in their 8th annual figurative juried award show.
The show is open to all artists working in all mediums who wish to submit works that represent the human form or parts thereof. Selected works will be exhibited at Saint Brigid's Centre for the Arts in Ottawa from November 22-December 3, 2017. This is a juried show that awards monetary prizes. Last year $3600 was awarded. The awards ceremony will be held on November 22 at 7:30pm.

The Black Cat Artspace's 4th annual, Salon of Inclusiveness
Submission deadline: October 10th, 2017
To celebrate the end of the year The Black Cat Artspace is using the idea of crowdsourcing to bring together a large and inclusive group show. No medium or work will be rejected from this show. There is a $25 submission fee per 12"x12" of wall space with a maximum of 4.5'x4.4'. Artwork must be priced between $50-$500 and there is no commission taken on sold pieces. There will be three opening receptions: November 30th, December 1st and 7th from 7pm - 10:30pm. Exhibition runs from November 29th –December 31st 2017.
Artist Project 2018 Call for Installation Art

The Artist Project Contemporary Art Fair invites artists to submit projects to the Installation Zone. Large-scale sculpture, conceptual art, and installations will be considered. Selected artists will be awarded a free space to showcase large-scale work (note that booths at The Artist Project cost $2100-$5870) and exhibited at The Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto from February 22-25, 2017. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee made up of art professionals and design experts.

Centre[3] for Print and Media Arts Emerging Artist Residency 2017/18

Centre[3] for Print and Media Arts invites artists to apply for its Emerging Artist Residency Program. The program will begin in December 2017 and will conclude in February 2018. Following their residency, the artist will be showcased in the main exhibition space at Centre[3], from February 23 to April 7, 2018. Centre[3] is an artist run print and media centre in Hamilton, Ontario that supports both traditional and experimental print media and media art practices. The centre encourages research and innovation and provides forums for discussion and examination of critical and theoretical issues.
