Erin Candela
Erin Candela is a Canadian artist originally from northern BC, currently living in Toronto. Often using historical documents such as photographs, public school books, nature encyclopedias and community journals, themes of Memory and identity are frequently present in her drawings. Ideas of North, Canadian landscape, and portentous depictions of wild creatures and characters are also common and contribute to a scattered and ambiguous narrative around identity and place.

Jen Pilles
Jen Pilles is a plein-air artist and freelance illustrator who recently moved away from Toronto to live in the forest. Her work is inspired by the natural world, and influenced by her love of exploration. Jen has been developing her plein-air practice for many years, enjoying the challenge of creating artwork from life outdoors. She allows her intuition to inform the work while savouring the view and staying mindful of the moment. Jen considers each new place she visits a chance to expand the scope of her practice, and discover something new about the world and herself. Jen's work uses a combination of media including gouache, watercolour, ink and coloured pencil on paper.
