Paralia Newcomer Arts Network - Support for newcomer and refugee artists

Paralia supports and promotes newcomer artists as well as encourages their self-sustainability by providing them with the skills and resources needed in order to establish an artistic presence in Canada.

Toronto Arts Council has announced two new granting programs for newcomer and refugee artists. Individual artists working in any discipline can apply to develop their arts practice with the help of a mentor through the Newcomer and Refugee Artist Mentorship program. Organizations and collectives that are engaging newcomers and refugees through the arts can apply for funding through the Newcomer and Refugee Arts Engagement program. Newcomer and Refugee Artist Mentorship
For individuals
The total grant is $10,000. $5,000 is paid directly to the applicant and $5,000 is paid directly to the mentor.

Newcomer and Refugee Arts Engagement:
For organizations and collectives
The set grant amount is $20,000. This grant may cover up to 100% of project costs.
