Akin Sunrise artist June Clark reflects on her long career in the arts and a lifetime spent translating her surroundings into creative works in recent article June Clark: Turning Scraps into Art for CanCulture Magazine.
June Clark's art practice touches on public concerns in combination with her own personal experiences. Using a wide variety of mixed materials, her photo-based image works, installations and interventions explore and give form to her values and ideas. Currently an artist in residence at OCAD University in Toronto, Clark is working towards the completion of a photo and text based work that she started while in Paris.
